BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS

I, (the trip participant), agree to the following Terms & Conditions created and enforced by Sacred Sites Retreats.'

TERMS OF SERVICE

Sacred Sites Retreats lists what is included on each trip’s individual page. Airfare, optional excursions, alcohol, tips, travel health insurance, and trip insurance are not included unless explicitly stated.

RESERVATION

To reserve your place on a retreat, you must submit an $800 non-refundable deposit through our online booking system. A completed registration form is required prior to booking and is available on the individual retreat page.

PAYMENTS

All prices are per person in USD.

• The $800 deposit secures your spot and is applied toward the total trip cost.

Credit Card Authorization & Automatic Collection of Final Payment

Upon registration, you will be asked to provide credit card information. Unless you request the installment plan outlined below, the remaining balance will be automatically charged 90 days prior to the retreat start date.

Failure to cancel prior to the 90-day deadline will result in the automatic charge of the remaining balance, with no refund.

Receipts will be issued after each successful payment.

Installment Plan

Installment plans are available upon request only and subject to approval.

• 3 installment payments on specified dates

• 5% processing fee per transaction

If registering within 90 days of the retreat start date, the remaining balance must be paid in one full payment.

If a payment is declined and no response is received within 7 days, Sacred Sites Retreats reserves the right to forfeit your reservation.

CANCELLATION POLICY & DEPOSITS

• The $800 deposit is non-refundable.

• Cancellations made more than 90 days prior to the retreat start date may receive a refund of payments made beyond the deposit, at the sole discretion of Sacred Sites Retreats.

• Cancellations made within 90 days of the retreat start date result in forfeiture of all payments, with no refunds issued.

• Failure to submit full payment or respond to communication may result in the automatic charge of the remaining balance and forfeiture of your reservation.

Any unpaid forfeited balance may be pursued as a debt owed to Sacred Sites Retreats.

TRIP CHANGES

Sacred Sites Retreats reserves the right to make changes to venues, accommodations, vendors, facilitators, leaders, itineraries, or retreat content due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, natural disasters, illness, civil unrest, closures, death, or force majeure events.

If material changes occur, participants may elect to:

• Transfer their deposit to a future Sacred Sites Retreat (to be used within one year), or

• Cancel, subject to standard cancellation policies.

Sacred Sites Retreats is not responsible for additional expenses incurred due to changes. Travel insurance is strongly encouraged.

INSURANCE & TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

Travel Health Insurance

All participants are required to obtain travel health insurance that includes coverage for:

• Hospitalization and emergency treatment

• Prescribed medications and diagnostics

• Medical evacuation and repatriation

Proof of insurance must be submitted no later than one week prior to retreat start. Failure to provide proof may result in forfeiture of your reservation.

Trip Cancellation, Interruption & Delay Insurance

Trip cancellation and interruption insurance is strongly recommended, including “cancel for any reason” coverage. If a participant elects not to purchase such insurance, Sacred Sites Retreats assumes no liability for losses or forfeited payments.

Travel Documents

Participants are solely responsible for obtaining all required travel documents including passports, visas, immunizations, and entry requirements.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISKS

Assumption of Responsibility

I acknowledge that participation in Sacred Sites Retreats experiences involves inherent risks, some of which cannot be eliminated without altering the nature of the retreat.

These risks may include emotional distress, illness, injury, permanent disability, property loss, or death.

Activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Hiking, trekking, climbing, and walking on uneven terrain

• Travel in remote or developing regions

• Yoga, breathwork, meditation, somatic practices, and physical movement

• Swimming or water immersion

• Cultural, spiritual, or ceremonial activities

• Exposure to weather extremes, altitude, wildlife, insects, and environmental hazards

I understand that access to medical care may be delayed or unavailable and that Sacred Sites Retreats is not a medical provider.

I voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks associated with participation.

OPTIONAL PLANT MEDICINE CEREMONIES

Additional Acknowledgement of Risk

Some retreats may offer optional plant medicine ceremonies, including but not limited to Huachuma (San Pedro), Psilocybin, and Ayahuasca, facilitated by independent third-party practitioners or local elders.

Participation is entirely voluntary and carries additional risks, including but not limited to:

• Intense physical, emotional, or psychological responses

• Altered perception or consciousness

• Psychological distress or unforeseen reactions

I affirm that I am solely responsible for determining my fitness to participate, that I have disclosed all relevant medical and mental health information to facilitators, and that I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

Sacred Sites Retreats assumes no responsibility or liability for outcomes related to optional plant medicine ceremonies.

WAIVER, RELEASE & INDEMNIFICATION

Release and Waiver of Liability

I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Sacred Sites Retreats, including its owners, directors, employees, contractors, facilitators, guides, volunteers, vendors, partners, and affiliates, from any and all claims, demands, causes of action, or liability, whether known or unknown, arising from or related to my participation.

This includes claims related to:

• Injury, illness, emotional distress, disability, or death

• Participation in physical activities, ceremonies, or travel

• Acts or omissions of third-party vendors or facilitators

• Weather events, natural disasters, political unrest, or acts of God

• Negligence, except where prohibited by law

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sacred Sites Retreats from any claims, losses, damages, or legal expenses arising from my actions or participation.

DECLARATION OF HEALTH

I affirm that I am physically, mentally, and emotionally capable of participating. I accept full responsibility for my health and acknowledge that Sacred Sites Retreats does not provide medical advice or treatment.

PARTICIPANT CONDUCT & REMOVAL

Sacred Sites Retreats reserves the right to accept or remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or detrimental to the group, without refund or compensation.

Sacred Sites Retreats is not responsible for participants who leave early or engage in activities outside the official itinerary.

PHOTOGRAPHY & IMAGE RELEASE

I grant Sacred Sites Retreats and its affiliates a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use photographs or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. Personal use is permitted; commercial use is not.
